Professor Dr. Jayalakshmi T.K., MBBS, MD (Chest Medicine), DETRD (Diploma in Environmental, TB & Chest Diseases), HERMES European Diploma, is a Consultant, Pulmonologist at Apollo Hospitals, Navi Mumbai. She comes with more than 25 years of experience in Pulmonology and Thoracoscopy. Recently She successfully Completed MRCP-Medicine, UK-London in 2022.

Post her M.D in India; she completed European respiratory diplomate in respiratory medicine. She is also EBUS and Thoracoscopy at National University, Singapore & Italy. She is a keen academician and has worked as a Professor and Head of Department of Pulmonary medicine at the DY Patil Hospital in Navi Mumbai.

Dr. Jayalakshmi’s areas of special interest are COPD, Bronchial Asthma and Allergy, TB & MDR TB and Bronchoscopy, She is also well versed in treating ILD and Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis. she has an expertise and has managed Covid affected patients in the Pandemic.
